Understanding your current customers is important. But clearly defining who you want your future customers to be—and what truly motivates them—is essential. It’s not just about demographics; it’s about uncovering the psychographics: their pain points, pressures, goals, and unspoken frustrations. What keeps them up at night? What triggers action?

By building detailed personas rooted in both data and empathy, we can craft messaging, content, and campaigns that resonate on a deeper level—compelling the right audience to engage, trust, and convert. The goal is simple: solve their problems before they even articulate them, and position your brand as the answer they’ve been looking for.

I invest just as much time analyzing campaign data as I do developing the creative—because the insights gained from tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, HubSpot, and Sprout Social reveal exactly what’s resonating with audiences and where to adjust. Much like studying history, data tells a story—one that empowers me to pivot in real time and refine future strategies with confidence. My experience includes hands-on use of platforms such as GA, GTM, GSC, SEMrush, HubSpot, GMB, SharpSpring, and Sprout Social to track performance, optimize campaigns, and drive meaningful results.

Collaborating with the client, the Creative Director and Dev Team, I was able to develop personas that resulted in writing content paired with images and design that not only wins awards, but more importantly, delivers customers and traffic to the business.

Missouri Ridge Distillery Website

The task: was to create compelling content that told the story of a man who left the corporate world behind and began to brew whiskey like his father, and his father before him. The site needed to portray the deep connection to family, the Ozark mountains, and the craft while creating excitement for new and returning visitors.

JD’s Hideaway Website

The task: To begin the branding look and voice of a new business that is going to add several new locations to its flagship. The primary goal was to appeal to military personnel at the local bases while creating a ‘hometown’ feel and bond in the communities in which they operate.

Ready Now Recovery Video

The task: To start the branding process through the use of a compelling video — telling a story about redemption and healing that will wholly resonate with those seeking the same.

John Engler Woodcarving

The tast: John Engler’s website was a first-generation website created in the early 2000’s and was never optimized for mobile. John’s work as a world-class, best-in-class artist was not fully highlighted in the old format. The new layout and design not only offered his visitors a more detailed look at his work, but is not fully mobile-friendly. The site is now equipped with SEO and John is seeing more traffic and inquirires than ever before.

Ozarks Woodcarving Seminar

The test: A second website for John Engler Woodcarving, this site is solely for his largest event of the year, which has been taking place annually for over two decades. Despite the success, the old website was first-generation and severely outdated. It was not optimized for mobile, making it nearly impossible for visitors to see the detailed artwork the seminar instructors were promoting. There was also various pages that were no longer relevant or needed. I condensed the pages, optimized for search engines, added in better photos and easy UX for an older demographic.

The result: A cleaner, modern UX-friendly website that portrays the event and the talent better.

The Northridge Group

The task: The existing website was extremely large and slow. The navigation was overwhelming, creating poor UX. I paired down the pages, created a smaller navigation and updated the look to be more modern and clean. This has resulted in an increase of known users by 168% and an incease in new users by over 400% (Google Analytics).

Spartan Ale House

The task: To create one website for two locations for easier UX and navigation. This was particularly difficult because each location has a different look, different footprint and often offers different specials and events.

The result: One singular website that is fully mobile and SEO optimized with easy navigation. The site captures events and menus for each location without diluting the brand. Traffic is up over 20% from previous year.
